Pidgeon peas


PIGEON PEAS

Can you believe I picked those just off of only 1 plant !! ???

I love them , they are not as sweet as regular peas and you also have to cook them for a long time . they are great in stews .

  2. I bought a bag of dry pidgeon peas in a regular super market in Florida ... Thats the first time I had ever grown pidgeon peas .. whats really amazing is how many you get just from one plant . I`ll be trying them in my garden next spring here in NY ,I am curious to see if I will have any luck up North. .
